Does this honestly sound like alot of food in one day?

First that's not enough calories. First find a bmr calculator to tell you the minimum cals you should be burning or as a quick calc multiply your weight by 10. You need at least this much to keep your body going as this is the amount of calories you burn just being alive. Your body would burn this even if you were in a coma. Also reverse the order in which you eat as much. So eat the biggest meal in the morning and then as the day goes along reduce meal size that or eat equal size meals all day. Your body needs the most when waking up so less of it goes to weight and fat, while if you eat a huge dinner you have that in your body when you go to sleep which it then needs to burn off, instead of burning off the fat during night it has to burn off the calories in your dinner.
