I don't understand how the unspoken word?

yea, it's assumed your to get good grades from elementary to high school and that is all you are told, nothing else. nothing about the future and your career, it's always '' well your going to college no matter what '' and when your at that point you ask '' what next?'' they only shrug and tell you to figure it out. and school staff and counsellors can't help you because there are to many kids. then you either don't go to college and work like hell until 75 or go to college, graduate, get lucky and become succesful or end up working at mcdonald's. it's like those choose your own adventure books, only it's loose your own adventures.
