Am I allergic to avocado?

I love avocados and guacamole, but whenever i eat them a small area on the outside of each cheek starts to get itchy, and it feels like a lump is in the bottom of my throat or stomach kinda like when you eat a lot of dry food and dont drink any water. Am I allergic to avocados?
